BGP Parameters
About
This page regroup our policies applied on the AS29075 network.
Route policies
Dampening
AS29075 don’t use dampening anymore.
BFD
We do not implement BFD on our peers.
Aggregation and disaggregation
AS29075 doesn’t applies any aggregation or disaggregation of prefixes, neither from our providers or from our consumers or our own. We want to redistribute the most neutral view of our full-table as possible.
Local-pref
Safety policy
Max-prefix
IELO applies max-prefix to all peers, and to our clients. If you peer with us, you are required to apply a max-prefix on the session for safety reasons. As a remainder, here are our maximum-prefixes recommended when peering with us:
IPv4 | IPv6 |
---|---|
10000 | 4000 |
Filtering
IELO applies IRR filtering for their clients and request them to update their object in the databases before adding new prefixes to their prefix-lists that are generated using the bgpq
utility.
RTBH
Our clients can apply a Remotely Triggered Blackholing on our network. For that, they can use a /32 IPv4 route or a /128 IPv6 route. This route might be RPKI invalid if it follows the IRR filtering. For this usage they have to tag the route with the dedicated community.
RPKI
RPKI filtering on AS29075 is currently under testing.
